The Dude Ranchers' Association
There are over 100 members in The Dude Ranchers' Association, which was formed in 1926 to preserve this special way of life and the wonderful environment in which it takes place. Membership in the Association is not automatic. Dude ranches applying for membership go through a rigorous two year inspection and approval process. The Buffalo Bill Historical Center
The Buffalo Bill Museum examines both the personal and public lives of W.F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody, and seeks to interpret his story in the context of the history and myth of the American West.

The Whitney Gallery of Western Art presents an outstanding collection of masterworks of the American West. Original paintings, sculptures and prints trace artistic interpretations of the West from the early 19th century to today.

The Plains Indian Museum features one of the country's largest and finest collections of Plains Indian art and artifacts. Explore the cultural histories, artistry and living traditions of Plains Indian peoples, including the Arapaho, Crow, Cheyenne, Kiowa, Comanche, Blackfeet, Sioux, Gros Ventre, Shoshone and Pawnee.

The Cody Firearms Museum contains the world's most comprehensive assemblage of American arms, as well as European arms dating to the 16th century.

The Draper Museum of Natural History integrates the humanities with natural sciences to interpret the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and adjacent intermountain basins.

The Harold McCracken Research Library advances the understanding, appreciation and study of the American West.


The Wild Sheep Foundation
For more than 30 years the Wild Sheep Foundation (formerly FNAWS) has been committed to its mission of “Putting Sheep on the Mountain!”

This international wildlife conservation organization has generated more than $70 million dollars for the conservation of wild sheep while benefiting other wildlife. The Foundation is a membership based group with members from more than 20 different countries made up of wildlife managers, hunters, outfitters, and people that are just interested in a healthy future for wildlife and wildlife habitat.

The Wild Sheep Foundation effectively works with federal, state, and provincial wildlife and land management policymakers to ensure that open space remain intact for all wildlife providing recreational opportunities for the public.
